Trip to the Holy Land

There's a Package Tour to the Holy Land - Jerusalem, planned to coincide with the EID Holidays.....but I will not be going. I am so tempted but I have other plans........and I cannot afford to take leave now.

This Tour is being planned secretly. Why? Here in Kuwait, ISRAEL is a Big No-No. Why again? Kuwait is showing her support to Palestine by banning everything that's to do with Israel. If one has been to Israel, then you will not be allowed to enter the country. Therefore, one travels to Israel via another country. For instance, this Tour Group will first go to Jordan. There, they will collect a Permit in exchange for their Passport which will allow them to enter Israel and then back the same way. This way their Passport will not have an Israeli Stamp.

The Passport may not be stamped........but one could have been to Israel. Personally, I feel the whole thing quite absurd!

welcome to the land of camel jockeys. by the time they get their heads out of their collective behinds, they will have travelled back in time 6000 years.

oh wow--i had no idea! the convolutions of life, eh? in the usa there is a similar deal with cuba. theoretically, you're not allowed to go. but it's common knowledge that you can actually take tours quite easily via canada!

i guess the politicians of the world always need SOMEBODY external to blame for stuff...otherwise we might all start looking at just what THEY are doing and how they are doing it!
