Blogging Friends

Joining Bloggersphere since last year, I have found a new set of friends. These are my Blogging Friends.

I have always wondered about relationships made in this virtual internet world and have always looked at it suspiciously. How could anyone come to know another person in this virtual world? People could/would pretend what they are actually not. The thought that online personalities would be far from reality kept me away from even thinking...leave alone finding a friend. I always felt that it's difficult to fathom the complex entirety of one's self solely by words....but now, I am not so sure.

Through comments and counter comments that one leaves on various sites.....one slowly unravels one's personality. Before you know...you have found in one, an ally....in another an enemy. In some of the Blogs it turns to extremes and there are even sides that one can take.

I too have found, like minded Bloggers who through exchange of mails, chats and photos are now my friends. Some even though we have not met have come closer than friends we have always had. I am pretty positive that if and when I meet them, they will be just as I have always known...I feel it in my bones!
